Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and five other suspects accused of importing substandard immunoglobulin vials have been further remanded until 8 August.
The Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court issued this order today, following their appearance in court.
Rambukwella has been in remand custody since 2 February, charged by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the alleged procurement of faulty intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) vials.
