Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe denied reports that President Ranil Wickremasinghe told him to resign after he obtained SLFP membership
However, SLFP Senior Vice Chairman Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa, alleged that the President pressured Rajapakshe to resign from the government.
He claimed that Minister Rajapakshe revealed this during an SLFP Central Committee meeting.
