President Ranil Wickremesinghe has symbolically awarded 442 of the planned 5,000 land deeds to the people of Mannar district as part of the ‘Urumaya’ national program, according to the President’s Media Division (PMD).
The event took place this morning (16) at the Mannar Municipal Council Auditorium.
The ‘Urumaya’ national program aims to distribute 2 million freehold land deeds to individuals across the island.
