Sinopac increases fuel prices

Sinopac Energy Lanka (Pvt) Ltd made an announcement today (1) regarding an increase in fuel prices, which took effect at 6:00 p.m. on the same day.

The adjustments include a Rs 6 increase in the price of a liter of Petrol 95 Octane, a Rs 10 increase for Auto Diesel, and a substantial Rs 61 hike for Super Diesel. The price of a liter of Petrol 92 Octane remained unchanged.

As a result of these changes, the new prices are as follows: Petrol 95 Octane at Rs 420 per liter, Auto Diesel at Rs 348, and Super Diesel at Rs 417.

It is anticipated that both CEYPETCO and Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) will also revise their fuel prices tomorrow (2), following their established pricing formula.
