At least 9 persons have been killed when a bus from Polonnaruwa to Kaththankudy collides on the Kotaleeya bridge at Manampitiya & topples into the river.
It is reported that at least 20 persons who have sustained injuries have been hospitalized.
Rescure operations are still underway.
