IGP C.D. Wickramaratna granted another 03 months extension of service from today by the President on the recommendation of Public Security Minister Tiran Alles, Ministry of Public Security announced.
The tenure of the current IGP had been expired in June and the post had been vacant for nearly two weeks.
This is the second service extension given to IGP Wickramaratne.
