The Prime Minister’s Office refuted reports that claimed Premier Mahinda Rajapaksa will resign from his position.
In a statement, the PM’s Office said that reports were circulated on both mainstrem media and social media that the PM is to quit. However, there is no truth in such reports, the statement added.
We strongly reject such false reports which were intended to mislead the public, PM’s Media Secretary Rohan Weliwita said.
