SL foreign reserve increases

The official forein reserves of Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has reached about USD 3.1 billion, CBSL Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal tweeted.

“In keeping with our previous announcements, the official reserve position of CBSL has today reached approximately USD 3.1 billion and will remain around that level by end 2021 as well,” he said.

The CBSL Governor in an early occasion said that foreign reserves will reach to USD 3.5 billion by the end of 2021.
