The Colombo High Court today (15) ordered Minister Basil Rajapaksa and former Director General of Divinaguma Development Department Kithsiri Ranawaka to be released from all indictments filed against them in the GI pipe case.
The Hc made this order aftee the Attorney General withdrew the indictments against the accused.
The case had been filed against the duo for allegedly misappropriating Rs.36.5 million of Divi Neguma Development Department to purchase and distribute GI pipes during Presidential Election in 2015.
