Another 5,350 Covid-19 patients have been added to the data base of the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry
With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Sri Lanka has been increased to 431,519.
The Epidemiology Unit said thesepatients were identified through PCR and Rapid Antigen Tests conducted from 24 to 27 of this month.
Meanwhile, another 14,394 COVID-19 patients have recovered and they have been discharged from hospitals and treatment centers within the last 24 hours.
Accordingly, 50,752 patients are currently receiveing treatments under hospitals, treatment centres and home-based care.
Sri Lanka’s current COVID-19 death toll remains 8,775.
