Duminda Silva assumes duty at NHDA

Former MP Duminda Silva today (10) assumed duties at National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) as the new Chairman.

The appointment had made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Secretary to the President P.B. Jayasundera had sent a letter to the State Ministry of Rural Housing, and Construction & Building Materials Industries Promotion Secretary regarding the appointed on 17 July.

Duminda Silva had been sentenced to death over the assassination of former MP Bharatha Lakshan Premachandra. He was granted presidential pardon on Poson Full Moon Day.
