State Minister Jeevan Thondaman claims that he recieved information about another minor who worked at MP Rishad Bathiudeen’s residence before Hishalini, the16 year old girl who died on burn injuries.
Thondaman, in a tweet said that both the minors had been provided by the same agency.
He further said that the minor who employed at Bathiudeen’s residence before Hishalini would give a statement to the Police.
Hishalini was admitted to Colombo National Hospital on 3 July following severe burn injuries and she died on 15 July. The postmortem revealed that she had been sexually abused for a long time.
