Recent investigations have revealed that a 16-year-old girl who tragically died at the Colombo Lotus Tower did so by suicide, a case linked to the earlier deaths of two classmates.
The girl, a grade 11 student from Colpetty, had visited the tower after school. She was deeply affected by the loss of her friends, both of whom also died by suicide earlier this year. Her father noted her mental struggles in the wake of their deaths, the Police said in a statement.
