The Postal Department reports that approximately 77% of official polling cards for the 2024 presidential election have been distributed so far.
Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe announced that distribution of nearly 13.2 million polling cards is already complete.
He added that the remaining cards would be delivered to voters on the 13th and 14th of September.
Voters who do not receive their polling cards by Saturday can visit their local post office with their National Identity Card (NIC) after September 18 to collect their polling cards, with this service available until the election on 21 September.
