The Election Commission has announced that it will utilize the powers and authority granted by law and seek assistance from state agencies to conduct the Local Government Elections.
This decision comes in response to the Supreme Court’s directive issued on 22 August 2024.
The Commission affirmed its commitment to ensuring the smooth and lawful execution of the elections as mandated by the Court’s judgement
