A minor tremor with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale was reported this evening between Anuradhapura and Kantale, according to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.
The Seismic Monitoring Center of the bureau stated that the tremor was recorded at approximately 5:12 p.m., occurring around 41 km east of Anuradhapura.
