FIFA has revoked the suspension that was placed on Sri Lanka with effect from today.
This decision comes as a result of Football Sri Lanka (FSL) initiating the process of organizing an election for office bearers, set to take place next month.
In a correspondence directed to FSL, Fatma Samoura, the General Secretary of FIFA, conveyed that both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation will maintain their oversight over the situation, ensuring a watchful eye until Sri Lanka successfully concludes its election on 29 September.
