Tax on a cigaratte stick would be increased by Rs. 5, Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa said.
He said that cigaratte prices have not been amended in several years.
Furthermore, tax on alcohol would be increased too and the gazette notification related to that is set to be published tonight, he said.
