A Digital Nomad Visa system to boost tourism and promote the inflow of foreign exchange will be introduced soon, Director General of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Dhammika Wijesinghe said.
The Cabinet has already given its nod to the proposal.
Accordingly, foreign visitors will be able to come Sri Lanka continue their employement in overseas remotely through this system.
Furthermore, the Director General said that an income will be generate through the relevant visa payments.
