Deputy Director of Medical Research Institute Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has been informed to appear before CID tomorrow (31).
This is following complaints repoetedly made by the Chairmen of the State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation and the State Pharmaceutical Corporation had recently filed complaints over the comments made by Dr. Bandara during an interview with a Youtube channel.
The complaints have been filed against him over allegedly misleading the public.
During the said interview, Dr. Bandara made some revelations regarding alleged malpractices at the SPC, SPMC and National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA). He also spoke about data gone missing from the data base of NMRA.
