Sri Lankans over 18 to be fully vaccinated by November end: Health Minister

All Sri Lankan citizens over the age of 18 years will be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 by the end of November, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella today (26) said.

He made this statement during a meeting held at the Health Ministry premises.

According to the Minister, all the citizens over the age of 30 are scheduled to be given both vaccine doses by mid-September.

Currently, there are discussions going on regarding giving a booster shot to those who are fully vaccinated as well, Rambukwella said.
