Singer and music producer Iraj Weeraratne has resigned from the National Youth Services Council.
In a letter address to Minister of Youth Affairs Namal Rajapaksa, Weeraratne said that he cannot continuing working as a Director Board member of the council as he has to attend ‘some urgent personal work.’
However, I will always be available to assist you with any work, should the need arise, on my personal and professional capacity as a youth artist in Sri Lanka, he said.
