All public gatherings will be suspended from midnight today and weddings will be banned from midnight Tuesday (17) until further notice, Government Information Department announced.
Accordingly, weddings would not be permitted to be held at homes and wedding halls.
Furthermore, the restaurants could be operated only for 50 percent of their capacity and that too is discouraged.
The Government equested people to avoid large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
