MP Rishad Bathiudeen was ordered to be remanded until the conclusion of the case file against him by Fort Magistrate today (10)
Bathiudeen and his brother were arrested on 24 April for allegedly aiding and abetting the Easter Sunday attack suicide bombers. They were detained for 72 hours by the CID under the provisions of PTA. After that, a 90-day detention order was obtained claiming that they should be interrogated further.
