Another 94 COVID-19 deathswere reported on 4 August, increasing the COVID-19 death toll in Sri Lanka to 4,821, The Director General of Health Services said this evening.
This is the highest death toll reported in a day in the country so far. Majority of victims (73)were over 60 years.
Moreover, 49 of the victims are males while the remaining 45 are females. Two female victims are below 30 years. Nineteen are between 30-59 years of age.
