Sri Lanka Press Council Chairman Mahinda Pathirana has lodged a complaint at Criminal Investigation Department regarding a photograph circulating on social media.
The paticular photograph which shows a person engaging in firewalking has been circulated on social media and several social media users have claimed the person was Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
Pathirana, who is known as an ardent supporter of Rajapaksa has filed the complaint at CID regarding the alleged misuse of the said photograph.
